Working with MAMA KAZI has transormed my life. I have been able to work with the other ladies to create Ideas or to improve the already existing ideas.
It's a decent way for me to earn a living and my husband doesn't have to worry or question me about my work place because he is aware of MAMA KAZI as
an organisation that aims for development of wives in the military. He knows that we are people of integrity.

With the pay that I get from working here at MAMA KAZI am able to buy a few nice things for myself with out having to depend on anybody and I can also
contribute when it comes to taking care of the household.

Every moment here is fulfilling for me. I am very greatful to the management at MAMA KAZI and to the Patron for starting and running this organisation
that helps to better our lives with more income.

I started at MAMA KAZI by learning how to make paper beads out of paper that most people would see no use in - like old news papers or magazines.
Later I was able to make very many beads very quickly and now I can make three cupfulls of beads in a day. Among the products that we make here at MAMA KAZI
I mostly like making the paper bead table mats.

For my three year stay here at MAMA KAZI, I believe that my life has been enriched greatly. I have been able to buy a plot of land for my mother back home
and invest in livestock with a few goats that are very productive and help me to raise some extra income, from money I make at MAMA KAZI.
All my five children all go to school and am able to give them something to go with to school every day.
Above all, I enjoy working with my colleagues here
at MAMA KAZI because we are able to share and develop ideas and this time helps me improve on my creativity that has helped me alot in other cases beyond
just at work. Their advice is invaluable and very helpful. I am very happy to be working with MAMA KAZI bead making project.

I've been with MAMA KAZI for two years now. I started my experience at MAMA KAZI six months after graduating with a diploma in secretarial studies.
I had been going around trying to start something on my own, but the challenge would be that I wouldn't have enough time to balance between work and my
duties back at home as a wife. It was about that time that the opportunity at MAMA KAZI opened up to me.

Once there, we were taken for a training workshop that lasted two weeks where we learned to make paper beads being lead by Mr.Saana. That was the
first experience at MAMA KAZI that changed my life. It was a time for me to learn to corporate with others, share ideas, work as a team and enjoy it all
at the same time. I like my working with the other ladies here at MAMA KAZI.

I have also been able to acquire land in the capital city - Kampala - because of the decent pay I get from my work here at MAMA KAZI. I am also happy
that my two year old son is about to begin school. I am sure that it will be a good experience for him because I'll be able to provide more than the basic
needs for him.
I am very greatful to the MAMA KAZI administration for their dedication to our progress and development
